Hi,
I hope this is in the right place, I couldn't find any other forum areas where this might be relevant.
I have been asked to set up a FTP server so that remote offices can use some automation to send in some information on a nightly basis.
One of the remote offices plans on using wget in a vbscript to send in their information in, what worries me is the script is in plane-text and the username/password details are easy to see (from within the script). I wonder how secure that is.
If anyone has any info on what methods are best to use or what programs might exist to do this I would be most grateful.
