FTP setup: how do i get rid of the need to put in the domain name?

Well I finally figured out that putting the DOMAIN\userName will let me login, but I really don't want that. How do I set it up so that I don't need to use that?

I changed the DeafultLogonDomain key under the MSFTPSVC to "ANON" (which is the domain name of the server), but that did nothing. And yes I did make sure to stop and restart the FTP.
