I'm running Serv-U ftp server software on a brand new Win XP Pro box. Clients can connect and upload files, but they are disconnected at exactly 5 minutes.
The timeout functions of Serv-U have been tweaked with no effect.
There must be something in XP that is timing out but I can't find it.
I've searched the registry for a key named "KeepAliveTimeout" (at the suggestion of another website) and it does not exist.
BACKGROUND INFO:
Previously, I had this same software working on Windows 2000, using the same settings, same IP address, same firewall (It's hardware, not software), and this computer did NOT timout at 5 minutes. But it was slow and locked up frequently, which is why we bought the new computer.
