Is there a way to display the FTP screen to list the file in a detail view so it shows the dates of the file? If now is there a script that file the newest files in the folder?
thaks

Unfortunately, there is not a way to do this very easily. You can select the FTP | Expand Remote Folder menu item to see the directory listing that was sent by the FTP site.

how does everyone else download files from and ftp site that has the same filename with a number. this number can be any number from day to day. today it could be 07, then 03, then 11. i have to look at the date of the file to see which one i need. any thoughts. thanks.

Does the directory listing from the Expand Remote Folder menu item show the data you need to determine the latest file? If so, your script could save that file to a set name, then parse it or sort it, looking for the newest filename and then retrieve that file.
