Is there a software application that will allow me to setup scheduled FTP tranfers, that is not complicated like setting up .bat files? I am using CoffeeCup's free ftp software at the moment but we have changes made to our server's webpages all the time and it gets difficult to update the server manually, though it does not have to be freeware.

Well you might have selected the wrong forum for this question but don't abandon the .bat file solution so quickly. I routinely publish a set of web pages using a simple .bat file along with Windows 2K's ability to script the FTP process. Here's a page with the basics.

I was initially turned-off by the prospect of learning yet another thing but the FTP client built into W2K & XP is so simple that I was able to write a script in about 15 minutes.

There are loads of FTP clients that support schedules, with the most popular probably being CuteFTP.

Your best option would be to download a trial first to make sure it meets your needs.

Hope this helps

WS-FTP seems to be the industry standard. It has scripting capability, including a directory synchronize option that can automatically update only those files that changed. I don't know if the free version has the scripting feature, but I think the full product is less that $50.
