ftp on apache

hi everybody

i'm trying to find some documentation somewhere that can guide me trought setting up ftp access for users to acces my server. i know how to add users the thing is i want them to ftp directly to an asignd directory, not the defoult one that is beeing created on the server.

can sombody please let me know where can i find some documentation on setting up ftp on apache..

Well the FTP server is not really related to Apache. Apache is only a Web server.

The FTP server that I use is proftpd at

http://www.proftpd.net

you can get all of the documentation there on how to set it up and specify the correct directories and everything.
