FTP MVS?

Hi,

I made a little FTP application in Visual Basic.
Do you think I will be able to connect (from a windows machine running my application) to a FTP server in a MVS system with it? Is it the same as connecting from a windows system to a windows system? (because the protocols should be independent from the system running on a machine)

ftp is a file transfer standard. As long as your MVS system is running snstcp or some other TCP/IP stack, you should be able to ftp. You might need some customization for the directory structure names, as MVS names them a bit differently.
