FTP m4ftp.mer log error STOR command

Hi,
Anyone know what causes error 500 STOR': command not understood? I am using ftp to do a binary transfer. All is good until the file attempts to store. Could this be a permission issue on the ftp server I'm writing to?

Possibly the problem is caused by the apostrophe after the STOR? What's the file name and adapter string you're using?

Even if its a problem with permissions you shouldn't get "command not understood".

Can you put files manually using another FTP client?
Can you post the rest of the trace?
