FTP issues in XP sp2

I have customers that can't connect via FTP from their XP systems only 98se/2k. I went thru all the suggested fixes from other users to no avail. Does anyone know what's going on so I can re-create it and then fix it.
Have also checked the 'allow only anonymous connections security' in the MMC.

Have you tried the Passive FTP setting in Internet Options?

Hi, also try "use folder view for FTP" in internet explorer, tools, internet options, advanced.
