Hi,
We have a Windows 2000 Cluster, when we FTP out from the cluster or connect to the internet from the cluster it uses the nodes physical IP address. This means we have to open two IP addresses on our firewall one for each node.

Is it possible to change this so when a connection leaves the cluster, it uses a virtual IP address.

Thanks,
Joe.

I not aware that you can do that, however you should not need to open your firewall for either IP, (by open I mean open from the outside in).

you could setup PAT for these 2 IP, so it will appear that they use the same IP as far as the outside world is concerned
