I am using MS FTP on our FTP server and I would like to configure it so that when a user logs in it goes right to their own folder. I don't want them to login and see everyone elses folders, even if they don't have access to it. We don't want our vendors to know what other vendors we are using.

EX. user a logs in and goes right to c:\users\a
user B goes to c:\users\b

So you currently have anonymous access?

Try this
It's a step in the right direction but it doesn't mean that it is 'secure'.
also, I hope you have a firewall in between the ftp server and the rest of the world....
if you want something more secure and easy to use integrate with windows, look at sslexplorer
just google it.

I would suggest to use a third-party product such as FileZilla ( it will allow you to do what you are looking to do.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

the ftp server is on a DMZ all by itself. Currently users are logging in with their own user name and password. They can see all the folders but only access their own.

Does the filezilla app run as a service?

Where do I configure the start folder?

I think that is exactly what I am looking for.
