FTP display list from IE to UNIX

Can any one help please.
When connecting to an AIX server running 5L using ftp via IE it display the files with either the date or time the file was last updated, therefore when clicking on the file of folder it cannot open it.
Any suggestions as to how i can just get it to display the file of folder only.

Don't know exactly but you can probably hack it by changing the ls command that the ftp daemon runs. Should be in the bin directory where the ftp anonymous directory is.
