Ftp connection

Could anyone please tell me how to limit the number of ftp and telnet sessions on Solaris 2.6 without using other programs like wu-ftpd or SSh.

You can ultimitly reduce the number of pseudo terminals in /etc/system. If you edit this you will need to reboot.

set pt_cnt = <num>

also

You can conifgure /etc/ftpusers to disallow specific users.
