An FTP connection can be made via Internet Explorer by typing the following: ftp.nameofsite.com. I am running an FTP server (Win 2K Adv. Server IIS). I have to run the FTP server on a non standard port ex: 1234.

Assume:
IP Address = 207.68.148.185
Port = 1234

How would I use my browser to connect to this site?

P.S. I can successfully connect using an FTP client.

Thanks

I tried that but it does not work. Any other ideas?

Are you sure that your ftp client was actually connecting on port 1234? Does your ftp client transfer in PASV mode?

Have you run a netstat -n while you were connected with your ftp client to verify that it is actually port 1234?

The syntax that manarth listed is accurate for connecting on a non-standard port.
