FTP and TCP/IP in VB6

Do I need to find controls for using FTP in VB6? Also, what if I wanted to "ping" a IP?
I'm wanting to use "pinging" for a program which will ping Quake 2 servers and allow you to join them (just if you wondered). Thanks,

Hi

I use VB's Inet Control to do FTP.
(Components>Internet Transfer Control)
If you are using Ping just to verify that you can connect to the Remote PC then Inet will work for you.
