The group I am volunteering for is using FP2000 and an FTP client. They do not upload from a PC but keep the entire site on the server and edit it from there. There is discussion lately that there is conflicts with trying to FTP to a server with a FP site, but we have had no problems. We are considering synchronizing with one PC and hoping to still allow some members to FTP their portions of the site to the server. Does anyone know if that will cause problems?

FTP and FP problems.

The only time there is a conflict between FrontPage and the use of FTP is when and if you are using FTP on a web site hosted on a server with FrontPage server extensions installed and you are using features that require FP server extensions to run.
As long as you are only using FTP and you are not using any features that require FrontPage server extensions, then you should have no problems.
