ftp access via root

I cannot use 'root' to ftp onto a unix box.
Other users are ok.

Is their a file I need to modify in the same way
that i have to modify /etc/default/login to allow
root access via telnet?

Hi,

Check /etc/ftpusers file. by default root not allow to ftp.
