FTP access to website

I have been using WS_FTP to upload files to my website for many years. On 1st May it suddenly stopped working for one of my sites. The left hand panel displays my site on my hard drive but the right hand panel only displays 3 or 4 folders and it is obvious it has not located the remote site. My web hosting company is Godaddy and I have sent them a dozen or more emails and telephoned them once with no success. They told me to change my password but it has made no difference, I still can't locate the remote website with WS_FTP. The site is still there because I am still getting visitors but I am unable to upload any new or modified files. Any help would be very much appreciated.

try using a different ftp client like leap or even IE.
