FTP a file

I tring to ftp a file to a novell drive automatically without
any user intervention. How can I pipe in the userid and password for FTP in a batch script or is there another to automatically copy a file from unix to Novell.

You will need to upgrade to netware 5 with Native IP before you can come close to doing what you want to. Or you'll need to have the source of the file logged into the Novell server with a drive letter mapped to the target directory. Or you could ftp the file to an NT or Win2K station logged into Novell, which would have an AT command running which would periodically check for new files in a temp directory, and move them to the target directory on the Novell server. there may be other solutions, but those are the only ones I can think of.
