I downloaded this mp3 player to use for my site. I cannot seem to get it to work. I have the XML sheet in the same folder. I also have my mp3's in the same main folder. The folder name is musik. Here is the pate that I have.

My swf is in the same folder as my XML document. In that folder I have another folder called musik, this has the mp3's in them.

When I test my fla and click on the play button I get this:

Error opening URL "file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Dad/Desktop/Website%20of%20July%202003/New%20Miller%20Site%20February%202004/musik/elvis.mp3"

Here is what my XML sheet looks like:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<songs>
<song path="musik/elvis.mp3" bild="" artist="Kendall Gaveck" title="Return to Sender"/>
<song path="musik/glenmiller.mp3" bild="covers/where.jpg" artist="Glen Miller" title="Serenade in Blue"/>
<song path="musik/jethrotull.mp3" bild="covers/four.jpg" artist="Jethro Tull" title="Aqualung"/>
<song path="musik/pinkfloyd.mp3" bild="covers/crazy.jpg" artist="Pink Floyd" title="Breathe in the Air"/>
</songs>

Hope you can help. I do not seem to be able to get it to work right.

Well apparently your "elvis.mp3" is not where you say it is in this...
file:///C|/Documents and Settings/Dad/Desktop/Website of July 2003/New Miller Site February 2004/musik/

Where is it?

It is in there. I checked the path again. I ripped these songs from a CD. I notice that in light gray lettering under elvis.mp3 is Elvis Presley. I put that in when I was ripping the CD. Could that be a problem?

Stick another normal mp3 (not ripped) that you know that plays correctly in that folder, and link to it to see if it works.

Figured it out. Would not believe what it was. I was renaming the files and putting the .mp3 extension on it. As soon as I took that off they played. Thank you.
