I have 2 x Win2K domain controllers. One is Exchange.

What recommendations would anyone have for the FSMOs to keep the domain running in peak form - assume identical hardware. 150 users, single site / domain.

You definitley transfer the Infrastructure Master to the DC that does not store the Global Catalog, unless they are both GC Servers.

HI.

For fault tolerance, I suggest the following:
Both servers should have DNS server installed, running and configured for workstations (via DHCP).
Both servers should act as GC = Global Catalog

I would consolidate all other FSMO roles in a single server which is more reliable. I guess that the server NOT running Exchange is more suitable (assuming that the other one is not a terminal server).
