Hi,

I have a Compaq Proliant 1850R that currently runs on a dual PIII 550 MHz (100 MHz FSB (Front Side Bus)) setup.

I'm wondering, can any of you tell me what kind of FSB the 1850R can do? Is it limited to 100 MHz or can it do 133 MHz CPUs? If it can do 133 MHz, should I spend a few bucks upgrading the dual 550 MHz procs to a dual 600 MHz setup with 133 MHz FSB?

Also, in the BIOS, one can choose between a few different OSes. The machine currently runs on a FreeBSD UNIX setup, but I'm not quite sure as to which option I should choose.

Hopefully someone here can help.

Thanks!

Check in the support manual for the server:

Should have the information you need (I cannot load Acrobat at the moment so I cannot suggest a page number)

That was quick, thanks.

I will check the support manual again, I might have overlooked something.
