How can I link a file system to newly created one to incrase the disk space.

Say you wanted to add space to your /opt directory.
Copy the data from /opt to the new partitian.
Delete the data in /opt.
Mount the new partitian using /opt as the mount point.
The new partitian will become your /opt directory and if the original /opt was part of your root partitian then this will free space on this partitian as well.
