Hi. In the past I have row formats for reports that track an amount based on the number of periods for which it's being run.
Every month I have to update this row in several row formats for the number of periods and if the report is run for a prior period, I have to change it back. It's not worth it to have a row format for every period and use Period effective dates.
I thought maybe I should use a unit account with an entry of "1" for each period, but then this amount multiplies for every unit in the tree.
Does anyone else have this problem or any suggestions?
