frx question on different server

FRX 6.7
SQL SERVER:2003
GREAT PLAINS: 8

we have two server out of which one has FRX installed that is live company. The other server is for testing purpose and we have test database coppied from live company.

I want to run frx on the test company. is there a way to run FRX on testing server without installing FRX

The only thing I can think of is creating a new company in your existing FRx installation that points to the test server and company. In FRx you can name the company anything you want, so that shouldn't be a problem even if the database ID is the same as your live one. You would have to create an ODBC connection to the test server for this to work and many people don't like doing this on their production system.
