We recently upgraded to Great Plains 9.0 and Frx 6.7 and we have been unable to export reports with multiple reporting units (and multiple pages in excel).

Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this problem?

Thank you.

have you tried to export through file - export - excel (thorugh OLE)

This version of Frx doesn't have that option. Instead it says "formated excel".

when we are in the report catalog there is a tab near the bottom that says 'Output' --- one of the options is Excel (in addition to the 'Formatted Excel') --- I think the Export also gives this same option - File->Export->Worksheet File->Excel --- in addition to the Formatted Excel & Lotus

is this what you are looking for Scott? We have gotten to using the Output tab a BUNCH more than before since it gives us more options up front.

We have tried it both from a conversion to Excel from an FRD file AND directly from the output file.

We finally, through the assistance of Microsoft, got it to work, but only if we didn't convert formulas.

I would like it to do both the multiple tabs, and the formulas. It worked fine in Frx 6.5

Do I understand this correctly, you are still looking for a way to export the formulas?

What was the solution Microsoft gave you? We are upgrading to 9.0 from 7.5 in August, and we export FRx reports to Excel ALOT, so any heads up is appreciated.

thanks,
barb

All,

I have had no problems exporting formulas and multiple worksheets in Frx 6.7 with my client using GP 9.0...

I tried exporting from the drill down viewer and setting the options to export.

Formulas were no problem - what did Microsoft tell you?
