I have a report that consolidates financials for several companies that have different year-ends. In addition it is a rotated report, meaning the units of the tree are in the row format and the account filters are in the column layout.
A few companies amalgamated into a new company but due to it only being a partial ownership change, we were allowed to change the name of the largest existing company in the amalgamation, and still use that database.
The problem is, the fiscal year has changed as follows:
2005 Jan-Dec 2005
2006 January 2006 only
2007 Feb06 thru Jan07
A different company has been selected in the catalog, but it doesn't make a difference which one I selecft.
My column layout for this report has a column for each company (sample) for a Feb06 report:
Year End: Jan31-07 June30-06
Type: GL GL
Book Code: ACTUAL ACTUAL
Fiscal yr: 2007 2006
Period Code: 1 8
Period: CUR CUR
I'm not even trying to report on 2006 for this company, but I still get the error, and maybe because I am reporting on 2006 periods for other companies.
I may need to rebuild my 50+ column column layout one column at a time unless someone has another suggestion?
