I am a developer that is being tasked with upgrading our Great Plains installation from 7.5 to 2010. As someone not very familiar with GP I'm sure I'll be visiting this as well as other forums quite a bit in the next couple of months.
Our finance department currently uses FRx 6.7 (with GP 7.5 and SQL 2000). If we upgrade to GP 2010 and SQL 2008, is there any chance that FRx 6.7 will still work with the new database?
Also, in searching the Internet, it seems as if there might be some replacement for FRx in the newer versions of GP or maybe some other module or something. Is there a newer version or a replacement for FRx?
Thank you in advance.
