We were running Great Plains 7.0 and FRx 6.5 together on our citrix servers fine, until 7.0 was uninstalled and MSGP 7.5 was installed. Now, FRx 6.5 doesn't work anymore. Any report yields the error 1512 Automation Error The specified module could not be found.

I have looked at the TK from Great Plains, but they are saying it's our IE version, but that has not changed ie we use IE 6 with sp1.

If GP 7.5 is only compatible with FRx 6.5, why does the install of 7.5 cause FRx to stop working?

Also, we cannot use any sql optimized or direct to table integrations using the latest version either IM 7.5a with sp 2a. Also get automation errors.

I have performed the upgrade from GP 7.0 to 7.5 a few times and have never had it cause FRx 6.5 to stop working. One of those times was in a Citrix environment. No problems at all. I think there is something else that is causing your issues, it's not 'just' version 7.5.

Did you try reinstalling FRx and pointing it to a new sysdata directory?

Also, TK 30858 talks about automation errors for IM 7.x - not sure if this will solve that issue....

I have uninstalled FRx and reinstalled but still cannot generate anything. Integration manager was installed after FRx, so there wouldn't be anything that overwrote its own files other than IM 7.5 during the installation.

just for the hell of it, try logging onto the box as Administrator and running frx. I seem to recall something similar to this and it had to do with local poweruser/admin rights on the workstation.

Still wouldn't work under any users. Ended up uninstalling Integration Manager 7.5 then reinstalling IM 7.5 and all of a sudden FRx magically started to work.
