Hello!
We used the Aloha QS (or parts of it) to set up the database for a new Tableservice concept since we would have the exact same items. We finally got it up and running but I cannot get it to go to a default screen/table screen.
I made sure the 2 terms/2 employees I set up are "order entry" and "cashier" capable but not I can't get passed the "Special Functions" screen that it defaults to.
I tried to figure out a way to clock out the employees thinking this is why it won't go to a particular screen, but it appears no one is clocked in and I can't find a way to edit the special functions screen to give it a "clock in" and "clock out" function.
I tried deleting the translog hoping it would prompt automatically for clock in/out, but that didn't seem to make any difference. We don't use schedules in Aloha and have no restrictions on clocking in. If you go to "clock in/out times" on the Special Functions/Reports, there are no names or hours.
I tried rebooting server and doing refreshes.
When you to go the start screen that shows the keypad and it says "enter employee name", I am able to put in an employee number and then it automatically goes to the special functions screen. If I try entering a fake number, it will give me an invalid employee error.
We're only working on our testbed right now, not live (obviously since we can't get it to work...)
Help!
