We recently had our Active Directory have a serious issue, so we did an authoritative restore on one(Daffy) of our 2 DC's. That DC seems to be working perfectly except for the FRS error below. It has "recreate" the sysvol and netlogon shares by itself and seems to be working how it's suppose to. From what I've found on FRS is if there's a major error, it just stops, so I'm assuming because of the error below our authoritative AD restore is being "hung up" on that server and the AD syncing that should happen after the restore aren't going through because FRS keeps dieing.

Network/Server background:
2 Official DCs-1 in our main office and one in a remote office connected with a 512K VPN. The one in the remote office is where we did the AD restore. Since things broke we attempted to promote another 2003 server to a DC in hopes it would "magically" work like sometimes it seems like AD does. We are in Windows Server 2003 mode for both our forest and domain levels and only have the one domain of harley.glenmac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and just let me know what other info anyone needs.

Thanks,
Troy

Got it fixed. We had to end up using ADSIedit to edit a couple properties to fix this error, then we had to reinitialize our sysvol by doing an authoritative bulk restore using burflag settings in the registry of our DC's setting one to a D4(authoritative) and the other to D2 a reinitialise/clean.
