When dragging a table into the query grid in Access 2003, you can't move it, touch it, whatever, it's frozen, until you click on the titlebar of the querygrid itself.

This is definitly not a dealkiller, but it's one of those little pains like a pebble in the shoe that annoys worse as time goes on. Is it a known bug...hopefully with a fix for this? Or could it be machine-related, ie graphics drivers, etc.?

Jim,

I regularly have exactly the same problem. I also have similar issues with the database window refusing to scroll around long lists of objects.

Unfortunately I have found no fix for this so far, but will post back if and when I find one.

Ed,
Thanks, yes I get the scrolling thing also. Since I'm getting all of these issues on a few different machines, I'm thinking it's not a machine/video card issue, but an Access GUI thing.

Yep, I agree.

I don't use Access as frequently at home, but I've never encountered the problem on my home PC. Home PC is fully up to date with all patches for MS Office. I'm guessing my work PC isn't (and I don't have the rights to update my work PC), so there may be a fix that I'm not aware of.

Access 2K3 doesn't seem that have anywhere near as many major bugs as 2000, but it certainly has a few annoying ones!
