Hello,

Can you help me ?

What is the difference between frozen and suspended cartridge ?
Not in the result, but the origin.

A cartridge may be frozen for a media position error, an unknown format, a read error, … OK!
But suspended??

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Hi

As far as I know...media is set to suspended when the error it encounters is just writing to the tape and not all the other errors that can occur that results in it being frozen (positioning, reading etc).
