Frontpage to Dreamweaver - 'Copy & Paste'

Hi,

I was interested in knowing if it’s possible, as I am new to Dreamweaver, if a website written in MS FrontPage could be simply copied and pasted into Dreamweaver. Would this work? Would links need repairing? I have made enquiries concerning this before, but to no avail.

If anybody could help out with this easy question, I would be most grateful as I need to know this before buying.

Have you tried just opening the relevant file. I'm sure it will open fine. Frontpage and Dreamweaver are nothing but tools, that create websites in an industry specified standard HTML.

What that means, is that underneath, the pages produced by both should be the same. As such just opening the file should work just fine.
