Frontpage Search component properties

I am using the FP search funtion. The script looks like:
webbot bot="Search" s-index="ALL"...etc.
Does anyone have a link that explains the different properties of the search? And is it possible to use wildcards in the search criteria. For instance I can search the text: TM969 and find hits, but if I search for just 969 I get nothing.
