frontpage linux and windows

hello, I have a huge problem,
We migrated a website from what I believe was a linux server that had frontpage extensions to a windows 2003 server, everything seemed to work fine exept the submit page. When you hit submit it goes to look for _vti_bin/shtml.exe, I open the page in frontpage 2003 then published and put it back on the server now the page goes to _derived/nortbots.htm, this page tells me: "You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.
This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed"
But All the frontpage extensions were installed in the server. Any clues please help!!

I'm not an expert on this, but I have run into the problem several times.

If the extensions are installed, and properly configured...

I have been successful by opening a new page using the FP template "Form Wizard". Then exit the wizard and you're left with the raw form on a new page. You can then insert your own form fields into the form, or insert them into table(s) you've inserted in the form.

When I've published pages with forms done this way, I've not had the same problem. I should study the html and see what needs to be in there when I haven't used the wizard to start the page.
