frontpage image map not working on fileserver

I had to do a documenting project and I did it in HTML using FrontPage 97. The company that I am being contracted out to do the work decided that they wanted to save space on the web server and instead put the HTML documents on a fileserver. Unfortunately, the image maps that I created in FrontPage 97 do not work. The image does not appear but the hotspot does. Can anyone give me the pure HTML code for image maps without the web bot stuff that front page gives? Does anyone know if the image maps even work on a file server?
