Frontpage form results into a text document

I have recently created a form for a guestbook on my site and I'm trying to get the results when submitted dumped into a text file. I have it linked to the file but when info is submitted it never makes it into that text file. Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so can you PLEASE tell me how to fix it. Thanks...

make sure the file in _private, results.txt or whatever is in this folder. If you name the output file ????.txt and it is not a valid file in this folder you will not get any results. If you want the txt file formatted with , etc. select the output format as text whatever type you want comma sep etc.
