Frontpage extensions weird error message..

Hi All,
I've installed Frontpage extensions 2002 on my Windows 2000 server ensuring that the default Frontpage extensions weren't installed beforehand.
When I go to IIS and do a check server extensions I get the error message "The server administration programs and the server extension are on the web server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with this server".
I have Windows 2000 SP3 running on this server with all the latest service packs.. does anyone know what has gone wrong??

Sounds oddly like this: thread779-452093, which was fixed with a re-installation of the server extensions.

I don't think it's this one though(I've followed the thread and had a look).. for some reason it thinks I've got an old administration program!
Anyway, I've reinstalled the extensions just to be sure.. it didn't work..
Microsoft don't have anything on their web site either.. anyone know what could have happened?
