I have a user tring to access a web using FP2002. He's getting the message "the server does not appear to have any authentication methods enabled". NT Challenge/Response is enabled on the server and the user has the proper rights.
He was able to publish fine before, and no other user is having this problem.

By the way, the server log is reporting this which I think is linked to the user with the problem.

Microsoft Server Extensions: Error #2005d Message: The Server extensions were unable to access the file "author.log". Please check the file permissions.

Could the permissions have been screwed up on author.log, if so, how come now other authors have this problem?
