Is MS-Frontpage a proper tool for intranet/web-site programming in a Linux environment? The client wants to deploy Oracle over Linux, and create an itranet for local users. What do you think about it and about using Frontpage for developing?
What about accessing the site from Internet via the company web-site? Could this web site be developed using Frontpage?
I will appreciate your thoughts.
Regards,
Jose.-

Generally on a Linux platform PHP is used for the scripting language. Frontpage is built to work mostly with the Microsoft environment and may not be your best tool. You may want to look at Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver supports and has tools for PHP.
