Hello,
I'm trying to teach myself Frontpage 2000. Actually, it's only a 45 day trial version and I had been trying to learn FP 98 before that.... Anyway, I have a few (tough?) questions.
First question, I want to apply different DHTML animation to two (or) more different pictures that appear on the same line. However, the animation type I choose seems to effect the entire line (line as in a word processing file line 1 line 2 line 3 etc.., not a real image line) and not just one of the images on that line. If I hit return between two images, then I can format each one differently, however the images are no longer where I want them to be. How do I apply different DHTML to images on the same line?
Secondly, going back to things being on the same line. Imagine a somewhat tall picture being aligned to the far left of a line. Imagine another picture aligned to the far right of the line, sort of encapsulating that line. That line is now as big as those images. How do I go about stacking images into all the dead space in between the two images? I of course know how to just insert an image there, but then it's not aligned top to bottom where I want it. I would also like to stack images and or text on top of each other between these two images. Hopefully my simplified example layout below actually looks right.

IMAGE1IMAGE1 some text here IMAGE2IMAGE2
IMAGE1IMAGE1 different text here IMAGE2IMAGE2
IMAGE1IMAGE1 and different text here IMAGE2IMAGE2
IMAGE1IMAGE1 IMAGE2IMAGE2
IMAGE1IMAGE1 small image here IMAGE2IMAGE2
IMAGE1IMAGE1 IMAGE2IMAGE2

At this point, all I can figure out is to get image1 and image2 in there, spaced where I want them, but I can only fit either an image or just one line of the text, and I can only get it to line up at the bottom of the full height of the line defined by the heights of image1 and 2. I cannot figure out how to stack text between them and stack a pic under that. In addition, the animation I was talking about was that I want "some text here" to fly in from the top, "different text here" fly in from the left, and "and different text here" fly in from the bottom. Additionally, I want "small image here" to spiral in. I would also like to time these events so that they occur one right after the other and not all at the same time. Note that this layout will take up the full standard webpage width.
Do I need to somehow insert some sort of break? Do I need to make this whole area one big pic (I doubt it)?
thanks for any help!
