My front panel mic and headphone jacks aren't working anymore. I reformatted my drive yestrday and now my front panel jacks arent working. They were working for a little while and then just stopped. It isnt my earphones, they are fine, i plugged them into the speakers and they are fine. But i cant use my mic, what could the problem be? Also, windows xp wont accept my serial number, what could that be?

Those serial numbers can be devils! The typeface and font size is only conducive to those with better than 20-20 vision... If you're sure this was exactly the license number that was in it before, then do a careful check for a figure zero (0) instead of an upper case letter "o" for example. Letter "B" and figure "8" are also favourites to get wrong.

Re the front panel jacks. Have you been inside the PC at all, and possibly unwittingly disturbed the cabling to the front panel? I assume you've mic and headphone jacks on the rear of the case - do both of these still work?
