Front Page, Theme ?

I have created my own theme for Front Page, using PhotoShop. I really need some help as when a page is displayed with content that exceeds the number of lines on the screen it repeats the background pattern. My pattern has links that I do not want displayed again. The image is not tiled, just repeated. Is there a way to suprress the image from reappearing and just letting the text scroll.

Using FP 2003. Thanks really appreciate any help anyone can offer.

this would apply to frontpage forum or to HTML forum, not ASP

but ...

easiest way to make a non repeating background image in a table or whatever, is to apply it in a div, with align left/top so that it forces itself under the text,
there's many other ways to this, search google for css div
