i am using frontpage 2000 to manage a website

i have been utilizing the shared borders for ease in navigation and some type of unity in the pages...
and i have been trying to add a 'script' to handle switching the sponsor's banners inside of the top border...

i found a javascript that would do it
but to use it i had to put it on every page that i wanted the banner to go to the top of...

i thought that by going into the _borders folder in my ftp program and inserting the javascript into the top.htm file i would have solved this problem

although i could view the actual _borders/top.htm file and would see the script working.. it would not work work when i loaded pages utilizing the top.htm file...

i thought that another possibilty is creating an active server page that could be used for the top border... so i did... i have created an asp page that controls the banner displays but am not aware how to use this for the border page either...(i can using frames but would much prefer using the top border in some way...)

does anyone have a suggestion?

Lars

Hi.

I don't understand exactly, why do you have to use ASP for putting a banner to the top of your page. The page, which is on the top of window is a separated page and you should put the script inside this page. If you put it and it didn't work, I think there was another problem. If you could send your source to me, may be we could find a solution for it.

regards, Kirilla
