There is something very strange happening with FP 98 and I have no idea how to fix it. We have reports that we are putting on a web site (in Word and Excel format) and the links seem to work fine when testing it locally but when we use WS FTP Pro to upload it....only some of the reports will come up. It is a random thing and I can't figure out what is going on. How can it work locally but then when it's uploaded only some of the reports work? Any/all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

FP has a tendency to literally translate local links to internet links.
Thus an excel file loaded from c:\office\excel\work\ within FP, will translate directly to web site.com\office\excel\work\pagename.htm but is truncated to "..\office\excel\work\pagename.htm"
To get it to work, the excel file must be uploaded into the \office\excel\work\ folder on your server, or you must manually edit the link inside FP to reflect it's correct location. Cheers,

We are making sure that the link is directly pointing to the file. We will test the page and it will follow the hyperlink just fine. Then we will upload it to the web site and at random times we get a message saying "Page Not Found" or "No Page To Display". I have even gone in, deleted eveything, and relinked it all and the same problem continues to happen. Any ideas? Any/all help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks and Happy Holidays!
