Hi everyone,

I figured I would bring this up on the board and see if I can get some help. Last year I bought the parts to build a new computer and with the help of a friend we built it. I remember when we put it together we weren't sure how to hook up the jacks on the front of the case for the headphone and microphone. I didn't really care at the time because I had no desire to use them. Now I want to try out Skype and it would be worlds easier to hook that stuff up in the front. Any help that you can provide in helping me set it up would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the parts for my system:

Rosewill Black ATX Mid Tower Case with 400W Power Supply, Model "R114A Black"

Intel Pentium 4/ 2.8E GHz 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology

ASUS "P4S800" SiS648FX Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU

NEC 16X Double Layer DVD±RW Drive, Black, Model ND-3500A BK, OEM

ROSEWILL R900J Silver/Black 19" LCD Monitor

SONY Black 1.44MB 3.5inch Floppy Disk Drive, Model MPF920, OEM

SAMSUNG 160GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive, Model SP1614C, OEM Drive Only

Lite-On 52X32X52 Internal EIDE CD-RW Drive Black, Model SOHR-5238S Black

eVGA nVIDIA GeForce FX5500 Video Card, 256MB DDR, 128-bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model "256-A8-N313-LX"

Koutech PCI to SATA RAID Controller Card, Model "PSA150"
Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 512MBx2 DDR PC-3200

Thanks,
Dan

real easy - there should be cables from those jacks, and their should be an I/O slot cover in the back with a hole in it, run those cables through there and then plug them into the jacks on your sound card. if you wanna see pictures of how this is done, here's the manual from for your case...
