From VLDB to SQLServer 1

I have instaled the MSDE with: setup.exe sapwd="mysecretpassword"
And after that I run SetupSQL.exe

But I have the messages:
With SQL Server security: Unable to login to MS SQL
With Windows security: The database instance that you chosen is a MSDE instance. Please select a correct SQL Server instance.

Any suggestions?

Are you running V11.1 ? I think MSDE is not supported on this version.

Hi ,
MSDE is not supported as DB , only SQL standard .
