from report/form to existing excel file 1

I have an Excel file that already exists. I would like to export several values into cells. It would be very helpful if I knew how to export, for example, value me.date from Access report or form into file test.xls cell A1. Thank you. BTW, export into excel function in access doesn't work very nice because it's a very complex report and all I get is chaos...

You could use Microsoft query in excel to get data from the databases.

suicide, ms query in excel it's not so user friendly. i would like (with one single click) to fill the file with data and then save it under different name. i know it's possible i'm just not so familiar with the vba syntax yet.
