From Fireworks to Corel Draw

Is there a way to "transport" my traced images in Fireworks to a file that could be imported by Corel Draw with minimum loss?. I also have Freehand, but I don't know which format would do best.

Freehand would possibly import better- there is an import function, I can't remember quite where as I used Corel on someone elses computer and don't own it currently I think it was in the File dropdown though. I did manage to import pictures, but I couldn't retain layers.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
